This purchase has enough content for at least two hours of teaching time. This lesson takes a detailed look at the events of 9/11 and how and why Islam is linked with this event. Students understand the history of terrorism and are taught valuable context for understanding why these events take place. The lesson includes a research pack for students to work through independently or in groups to learn details of the day. The students then think about who was responsible and how Muslims in America have been affected by these events. This lesson can be taught as a double.
